Manual Deployment

BrazenAgent enrollment is accomplished with the command line BrazenCloud Utility.

Don't forget to review the requirements!

Running with elevated permissions

When you are installing a BrazenAgent, the BrazenCloud utility needs to be run with elevated permissions. This is to allow the utility to create a local service.

Other than installation, it is not required to run the BrazenCloud utility with elevated permissions. However, when utilizing the node command, the temporary node BrazenAgent will be limited to the permissions of the account used to invoke it.

BrazenAgent Status

When looking at a BrazenAgent in the Devices view, there is a colored circle in the 'BrazenAgents' column.

If the circle is yellow, this indicates that the BrazenAgent is offline.

Offline BrazenAgent

This can be caused by a number of issues. The most common is host connectivity to BrazenCloud portal or the host is simply powered off.

Suppose a Job is run against a set of BrazenAgents and one or more BrazenAgents are offline. When the offline BrazenAgent comes back online it will pick up and complete any unfinished work provided the Job remains active.
