Automatic Deployment

Once you have at least one BrazenAgent installed you can leverage the BrazenAgent to automatically deploy additional BrazenAgents to other machines in the same network.

Windows BrazenAgents are deployed via RPC. Linux BrazenAgents are deployed via SSH.

Note: Automatic deployment can only occur if the BrazenAgent or BrazenCloud utility is running with privileges that allow service creation on the targeted hosts or you pass a username and password that have privileges on the remote host.

Requirements

  • The machine you want to deploy from is an online BrazenAgent

  • You know the remote IP ranges

  • You can authenticate to the devices

    • If the remote hosts are Linux, SSH must be enabled

    • If the remote hosts are Windows, RPC must be enabled
